As a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), LSU is responsible for ensuring that its coaches, student-athletes, faculty and staff, donors, boosters, former students, fans and friends abide by SEC and NCAA regulations.
Message from the Director of Athletics
Everyone's Responsibility
Louisiana State University (LSU) shall comply with all applicable National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Southeastern Conference (SEC) rules and regulations in the conduct of its intercollegiate athletics programs. LSU shall monitor its programs to ensure compliance and to identify and report to the NCAA/SEC instances in which compliance is not achieved. In any such instance, LSU shall cooperate fully with the NCAA/SEC and take appropriate cooperative actions.
Student-athletes, coaches, athletics department staff members and other individuals and groups representing LSU's athletics interest shall comply with all NCAA and SEC rules and regulations. LSU shall be responsible for such compliance.
